Pak minister Shireen Mazari wants PeeCee removed as UN Goodwill ambassador for backing ‘Indian military’

As per latest reports, Shireen Mazari, Pakistan’s Human Rights Minister has asked the UNICEF to remove Priyanka Chopra Jonas from the post of UN Goodwill Ambassador. She said this pointing out the fact that Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra was cheering the Indian Army.

She said her opinion on Twitter that grabbed everyone’s attention.

In her Tweet, she said, “@UNICEF needs to remove Priyanka Chopra as its ambassador immediately in the wake of her support for Indian mly (military) and rogue Modi govt. Otherwise it makes a mockery of such appointments. UNICEF should really be more careful on whom it appoints to these honorary positions,”

Earlier another woman from Pakistan had also talked against Priyanka Chopra during and even in Los Angeles for her tweet that was made at the time of Balakot strike.

Priyanka Chopra was condemned by various pro-Pakistani supporters when she cheered for her ‘Jai Hind’ tweet that was made after famous Balakot strike. At that time, the tensions between India and Pakistan were on the peak. The Balakot offensive was launched by India in the Pakistan-occupied Kashmir after 40 Indian troopers of the Central Reserve Police Force were killed in a deadly car bombing at Pulwama.

Another Pakistani girl named Ayesha Malik said that Priyanka Chopra was “hypocrite” who encourages nuclear confrontation against Pakistan.

As per the lady, being a UN Goodwill Ambassador, she did not aim for peace and was supporting battle between the two countries. The lady also said that a large number of Pakistani people have supported her in her career in Bollywood and still she wants nuclear battle with them.

Priyanka Chopra responded to the incident saying that she has a lot of fans from Pakistan and she never encourages a w.. between the two countries. She said that she is patriotic and also felt sorry if any of her statements have hurt the people.

“I have many, many friends from Pakistan and I am from India. War is not something I’m really fond of but I am patriotic, so I’m sorry if I hurt sentiments of people who do love me and have loved me. But I think that all of us have a, sort of, middle ground that we all have to walk. Just like you probably do as well. The way that you came at me right now… girl, don’t yell. We’re all here for love.”
